I was born in 1959 in Vilanova i la Geltro 45 km from Barcelona and I still live there.
My beginnings go back to 1976, when the first martial arts academy opened in my town. Through destiny´s choice, I started in Shito Ryu Karate Do.
My first teacher was Masayuki Kuninaga, and later on I trained with Kenji Hayashi from Kushin Kai Karate Do. I also trained s little bit of Tai Jitsu,
Ju Jitsu, Judo, Taekwondo, Kung Fu, Full Contact, Boxeo, Nunchaku...
Due to work related circumstances I had to stop training between 1993 to 1999.
I started training again in 1999 in Tai Jitsu under the guidance of Kyoshi Pere Calpe 7th Dan. In 2001 I was lucky to train with Josep Belana 6th Dan Okinawa Kenpo
and from 2003 onward IÕve been studying Karate Jitsu.
In the beginning, I was only interested in the sports side of martial arts, I placed at best at 4th place both in regional and national competitions.
I started my teaching carrier imitating what I had learnt from my instructors, and my students obtained good results in the regional championships.
After a few years, my curiosity drove me to practice diverse combat systems, and from 1999 onwards, I only concern myself with self defense.
I guess this has to do with the experience and knowledge a person acquires with the passing of the years.Nowadays, I compete in short fire arms shooting.
Welcome to the IBF
