  1. 1.You are a fully-fledged member of the IBF, when you receive your membership certificate.


2. Members will be excluded if they are involved in criminal acts, specially crimes that involve theft, violence, any form for sexual harassment specially against minors, such as pedophilia and the possession of child pornography.

The IBF reserves the right to notify the authorities should we get knowledge of any of our members incurring in any of the before mentioned criminal activities. We will also do our outmost to put that information forward to the relevant national martial arts bodies.


  1. 3.Members will be excluded if they involve themselves in any activity that may be related to racism, fundamentalism or terrorism.


  1. 4.All cases will be handled internally by the BOD and may be appealed ONCE.


5. IBF as an organization may not be hold liable for any activity or deed perpetrated by any of its members.

  1. 6.Only members of the BOD may make statements in representation of the IBF.


7. All activities that carry costs shall be lifted by the members involved in that activity. The IBF is not required to carry any costs where the IBF logo is used: such as certificates, handling and postage. IBF is not required to pay for any cost that the members have imposed on themselves, where the use of the IBF logo is used. The use of the IBF logo in any circumstances is only possible with permission from the BOD

8. Membership in IBF is divided in 3 categories:
a. Mudansha: kyu grades.
b. Yudansha: Dan grades.
c. Members of the BOD.
All members of the BOD are automatically members of IBF' s technical comity and grading panel.

9. All members have the same rights, regardless of grade.
